extends PropertyI<T>

Extends the PropertyI to include a mandatory reference to a bean and through FieldPropertyInfo a Field.

FieldPropertyInfo<T>	getInfo() Overrides only to make the return type more specific to match the fact that all classes that implments this interfact must be an object residing in a public final field or some bean.

Method Detail

init

void init(java.lang.Object bean)

Sets the bean that this property is a field in. This method will only be called once and an attempt to either send in null or change an already set bean should result in an exception.

Any use of the property before the bean is set is illegal and will result in an exception.

Parameters:

bean - The bean. Never null.

getBean

java.lang.Object getBean()

Returns the bean that this property has at "parent".

Any use of this property's value before the bean is set is illegal and will result in an exception.

Returns:

The bean that this property has at "parent. May only return null if the bean has not been set yet (i.e. it is not initialized).

getInfo

FieldPropertyInfo<T> getInfo()

Overrides only to make the return type more specific to match the fact that all classes that implments this interfact must be an object residing in a public final field or some bean.

Returns:

The info. Never null.
